This is the year when rum follows you into autumn. It used to be considered a seasonal spirit and reserved for summery drinks with pineapple juice and coconut milk. But rum is finally being recognized as an ingredient for year round use, just like vodka. In this particular drink you may not even notice the rum! Serve this drink at your next gathering and see if your guests can list all the ingredients. The prize will be a second round.
