Summer Drinks: Frozen Cherry Margarita Recipe

The 4th of July is less than a week away, so we're in the kitchen drumming up as many deliciously festive July 4th cocktails as possible to share with you every day. You'll love the mild taste of frozen cherries and the deep red hue in this twist on the traditional frozen Margarita. Frozen Cherry Margarita Frozen Cherry Margarita 1 cup frozen cherries 1.5 ounces tequila ½ ounce triple sec ¼ ounce maraschino liqueur 2 ounces homemade sweet and sour ½ ounce fresh lime juice 1 cup ice (optional but it adds some bulk)

Directions: Add all the ingredients to a blender and mix on high until smooth. Omitting the ice will give you a slushier drink, and a cup or more will make the consistency a lot thicker.
