Last night we kicked off our flip flops, lowered our sunglasses, and made martinis for a good cause. We returned to the sands of Santa Monica for another year of An Evening on the Beach, an annual fundraiser for St. Vincent Meals on Wheels of Los Angeles that raises much needed funds for an important organization.
The menu was simple: Distillery No. 209 gin martini or Chopin vodka martini served up and icy cold. Both cocktails were garnished by an olive stuffed with Petrossian caviar and an onion.
In between a steady flow of mixing and pouring we nibbled on incredible food prepared by LA's most talented chefs. If you missed this event don't worry...it will be back again next summer!
