Each and every year we strive to create a new candy cane martini recipe that will be even better than last year's. We don't mind using the same ol' ornaments for the tree every year, or making the same sugar cookie recipe from our grandma, or even wearing the same damn ugly Christmas sweater to pass out shots on Christmas Eve. But a new and improved peppermint candy cane recipe is like a little gift to ourselves and we're kinda selfish like that.
Candy Cane Martini 1.5 ounces cake vodka ¾ ounce peppermint schnapps ¾ creme de cocoa 1 teaspoon grenadine Crushed ice
Directions: Combine all the ingredients in a martini shaker with regular ice cubes. Shake will to mix, then strain into a glass packed with crushed ice.
For shots, simply strain the chilled cocktail into shot glasses.
