Pool Cocktails: Peligroso Pineapple Papaya Recipe

Ahhhh...it's a week day, it's July, it's summer. At this very moment, life is good. But that's because we're at the pool at 1:00 PM. OK yes yes with a lap top and a camera doing work but heck, we're working in shorts, tank tops, and flip flops, so we're grateful. Peligroso_7

Here's a fresh and tasty tequila drink we're enjoying poolside that we think you'll love. If you take a sip and close your eyes, you can imagine being on a tropical island far far way. Summer Lovin' 2 ounces Peligroso Tequila 1 ounce homemade sweet & sour 2 ounces pineapple juice ½ ounce fresh lime juice ½ papaya, seeded and chopped ½ ounce orange liqueur

Directions In a measuring pitcher, muddle the papaya in the tequila until the fruit has broken apart into pieces. Add the sweet & sour, pineapple juice, lime juice, and orange liqueur. Muddle again, then strain into a martini shaker to filter out the fruit pieces. Add ice and shake well. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
