The Book Tour Cocktail: Perfect Harmony

When we kicked off our book tour with BevMo! and Pottery Barn in San Diego on October 1st, we weren't set on demo drink yet. We knew that it had to be something delicious since alcohol had to be omitted, and it also had to be a drink that people could easily imagine adding their favorite spirit to at home. The recipe that we came up with was really well received, encouraging us to stick with it for the entire tour. Our favorite activity was to approach someone in the store with our refreshing beverage, and then wait for the customer to find us a few minutes later to ask, "I have to know what's in this!"

Perfect Harmony

Just like all the recipes in our book, it's actually very simple. It just tastes complicated!

We've been suggesting to add spiced rum, lemon vodka, tequila, or bourbon. Quite frankly, we'd use almost anything except a peaty scotch or gin. In the recipe pictured here, we used reposado. Try the recipe a few different ways and let us know which one you like best!
