Earlier this week we made a batch of orange sour which is the gift that keeps on giving. We've been using it for all sorts of recipes that we will 100% be sharing with all y'all. This Vodka Orange Sour cocktail is the first drink that we used it for, which is super simple and perfect for hangovers, brunch, and bridal showery events (though I just sucked one down at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon on a Friday). So basically it's extremely versatile and will pair with a side of bacon just as well as a handful of cashews.
Vodka Orange Sour Cocktail 1.5 ounces vodka 2 ounces homemade orange sour Lemon wheel garnish
Orange Sour Recipe ¾ cup sugar ½ cup lemon juice ½ cup orange juice 1 cup water
Directions: Fill a bucket glass with ice. Add the vodka and orange sour mix and stir. Also try with rum (we vote for coconut!) or gin.
